Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? Not feeling too fabulous these days? Well, that's not the question to ask a Mom who is struggling to lose the pregnancy weight. But the good news is that you can overcome the lingering "spell" of Mother Nature's pregnancy weight and re-claim a toned and lean body. Here's how you can have a fairy tale ending.
The 21st century Mom is expected to juggle work and family and look fabulous during pregnancy and after pregnancy. Unfortunately, most Moms don't have the luxury to hire a full-time nanny, personal trainer, chef, assistant or dietician to quickly lose weight after giving birth in order to keep her as the fabulous super Mom she's expected to be. That's the reality of the rich and famous. But do you want to live your life under the constant scrutiny of the paparazzi and the general public?
Moms want to look good and feel great. At least you don't have the pressure to burn the baby fat within a few months just to look skinny in order to avoid ending up on the front cover of the tabloids looking "fat". Thus a workout can be done at minimum cost and time in the comfort of your home.

All lifestyle programs should be supplemented with a variety of resources that will give you current information on health, fitness and nutrition. It should also address the needs of busy Moms such as meal planning, quick and healthy recipes, overcoming bad eating habits, organizational skills and tips for time management, etc. As mentioned before, a respectable lifestyle program should have a means of connecting with other members within the community for extra support and encouragement. This will keep things fresh and real.
Life after pregnancy has its ups and downs and your pregnancy weight shouldn't be one of downs. It can be a means to propel you and your family on towards a healthier lifestyle. Not only will you be a few dress sizes smaller, but also you will be the better off for it in the long run. A healthier lifestyle will make for a healthy family.
